Broken Antler Press was founded by Lincoln in 2022 to help publish his debut novel, A CROWN OF BLOOD. All good books deserve a nice publisher logo on the spine, and self-published books are no different.
The phrase ‘Broken Antler’ refers to one of Lincoln’s earliest works, THE SEVERED UMBRA, in which there was a talking stag (Hyorkrieg) named Ebihyatt. Ebihyatt was broken, his antlers shattered in battle, thereby losing his position as king of his herd. However, over the course of the trilogy, he regained his confidence and strength and took mastery of his future.
This is a mirror of Lincoln’s own efforts. After years of rejection from traditional publishing houses, Lincoln decided to self-publish and take mastery of his career.
He would still like to get traditionally published, but until then, Broken Antler will release his books.
